What is a Passport Bro?
“Passport Bros” is a colloquial term referring to a community of men, primarily from the United States and other Western countries. These men travel abroad with the intent of seeking romantic or dating relationships with women in countries such as the Philippines, Colombia, or other parts of Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
They often share their experiences online through social media. These men emphasize the idea that international travel can lead to more favorable or traditional relationships compared to those available in their home countries. The movement has garnered both support in the past few years.
My thoughts?
I think its a great movement! Before I started traveling, there wasn’t a name for it yet. I began traveling in 2018. The term seemed to rise after the passing of Kevin Samuels. In my personal experience, Latinas do tend to have a better attitude than their American counter parts. However, women are still women and you can find bad everywhere. Do not think that just because you’re in a new country that things will be all fine and dandy. You should still exercise with caution when dealing with people no matter the situation.
Im currently dealing with a lady in the Dominican Republic and we are building a business together. I will say that the most love I have received have been from Latinas. Even from the ones in America. So I think this is a very good movement for men interested in foreign culture and dating. This is part of the reason I started Bailar Con Latinas. I wanted to share my love for Latinas and Latin Culture.
